Kathleen, you were my best friend's mam. He is a credit to your grace, decency and humour. He loves you more than anyone else in the whole wide world and he is so, so proud of you and to be your son. So I thank you for creating and nurturing my best friend; the kind, generous, intelligent, funny and beautiful soul that I fondly call 'Pookie'. You did good. you did real good.
